Our Open House Event is BACK!

Join us for a fun-filled, educational day at the 2024 Marin/Sonoma Mosquito and Vector Control District Open House! Discover the world of mosquito and vector control while having a blast finding ways to reduce vectors around your home.

This family-friendly event is not only informative but also entirely free, with hands-on activities for both kids and adults, and free lunch provided!

Get ready for a fantastic day filled with fun activities including carnival games, bug tasting, displays with live vectors, a jumpy house, and even an appearance by The Queen Bee Ettamarie with her honeybee observation hive.

But that's not all! We'll be unveiling the winners of our 7th-ever Backyard Bugs Contest. Kids in TK through 6th grade can participate by finding a bug, observing it, drawing it, and writing about it. This contest aims to encourage students to use their observation and artistic skills while fostering an appreciation for bugs. All participants will receive a pocket nature journal for entering.
