Education Outreach Program
Program objectives
This program teaches students about the biology, ecology, and control of local vectors. It also serves to inform the public about the services that the District provides, and strives to foster student interest in entomology and ecology.
Scope of program
- Free in-class vector presentations are available to any school in Marin and Sonoma counties.
- We participate in a wide variety of science-related events, and we organize art/science contests to further engage students.
Scheduling presentations/Events
- If you are interested in scheduling a presentation/event or if you have specific questions about our education program please email Eric Engh.

We actively engage students every chance we get!

Every year hundreds of students enter our art contests!
